Costa Coffee

It was founded in London in 1971 by the Italian brothers Sergio and Bruno Costa. True to Italian tradition, Costa Coffee has been preparing its special Mocha Italia Espresso blend for thirty years – a mix of seven different coffee beans, slow-roasted to ensure exceptional flavour.

Another reason why Costa Coffee’s cafés are gaining popularity worldwide is the manual preparation of drinks using freshly ground coffee. Unlike most other chains, Costa does not use automated machines, but employs experienced baristas, whose training in the field is overseen by the company itself.

Costa Coffee currently operates in 32 countries and, with over 4,000 branches, is the largest and fastest-growing chain of Italian coffee shops in the world. It already has over 50 branches in the Czech Republic.
